Cath Lab Technologist

Cath Lab RCIS/CVT
Unit Cath Lab RCIS/CVT must have scrub experience for PCI/STEMI. Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases. On average, there are 8 cases per day. Call as needed, in average 12 days a month which includes at least one weekend Friday 1730-Monday 0700 with a response time of 30 min. Holidays call for holidays. Assignments are rotating and assigned. Hospital provided scrubs. No vents. Cardiologist hours/on call, IV team, RT 24/7, and pharmacy 24/7. Floor specific orientation depends on skill level - 1 or 2 shifts generally. Common cases include all cardiac invasive procedures, minus structural heart, peripheral procedure; carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diag and intervention. No "dirty" procedures such as pegs, g tubes, nephew tubes etc. Additional notes: 2 years of cath lab experience is required.
