Biomedical Support Analyst

Job Description and Duties

The incumbent works under direction of the Program Manager I in the Biomedical Support Unit (BSU), of the Disaster Medical Services (DMS) Division, and is responsible for completing analytical, technical, and functional assignments of the BSU by supporting the Mobile Medical Assets program, EMSA warehousing operations, and statewide disaster logistical response and recovery operations.

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

• Inventory Management Expertise. Demonstrated ability to independently analyze, develop, and maintain Complex logistics inventory systems.
• Contract Oversight and Compliance: Proven experience in overseeing and monitoring contracted and contracted services, including fleet maintenance, inventory system contracts, vehicle leases, and related contracts.
• Experience with data analysis, report writing, and data visualization programs.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to solve problems independently.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others including staff, and existing and potential partners and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and: 

o Ability to communicate effectively.

o Knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

o Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through on tasks and assignments.

o Effective organizational skills to ensure completed staff work in a variety of assignments.

o Aptitude for working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)
