Job Summary:
The Dealership Cashier is responsible for processing payments, handling customer transactions, and providing top-notch service at the front desk. This role is key to maintaining a smooth customer experience during vehicle service and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process service and parts payments, balancing the cash drawer daily
- Handle credit, debit, and cash transactions accurately
- Provide receipts and change as needed
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Assist with filing, scanning, and basic administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
