PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Our client, a leading Foundation (not-for-profit) based in Akwa Ibom state with a focus on the education sector is looking to hire a Program Coordinator for a full-time role located in the State. The successful candidate will be the liaison between the Foundation and a main sponsor seeking to execute additional programs such as an Environmental Awareness, School Quiz competition, and University Undergraduate scholarship. Key Responsibilities Interfacing with the Foundation in planning, organizing, and implementing ALL programs to the satisfaction of the sponsor. Preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and reports for these programs. Ensuring timely preparation and submission of relevant reports of these programs for use by the Foundation, Sponsor, and government agencies. Maintaining contact with all education stakeholders (teachers, school administration, students, vendors, etc.) to ensure a high level of service delivery. Establishing and developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, within and outside the education ecosystem, in furthering the objectives of these programs Promoting a positive image for the Sponsor and Foundation. Skills & Experience Teaching or work experience in the education ecosystem. Good working knowledge of the Nigerian public education department. Good written and verbal communication skills. Report writing and presentation skills. Ability to use computer and social media tools. Good team player Ability to work unsupervised and with own initiative to solve problems. Ability to inspire and motivate students and teachers. Resourcefulness Proven leadership skills Ability to manage and keep track of multiple projects. Attention to detail.
