Under general supervision, this role is the critical link in the continuum of care for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs), including pacemakers, ICDs, and Loop recorders. The Hospital Lab tech will combine advanced technical expertise with compassionate patient interaction, supporting both in-person clinical interrogations and remote monitoring transmissions to ensure optimal device performance and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• In-Person Device Management - Clinic; ED and inpatients
• Remote Monitoring
• Clinical Documentation & Administration

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors in Exercise Physiology or related field (i.e. Kinesiology, Cardiovascular science, or Health Science) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completed certification training from an Electrophysiology program.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience within a Device Clinic setting or equivalent.
• Experience with CIED interrogation/programming (Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Biotronik).

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RECS).
• International board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification.
• Prior experience in Cardiac Device clinic setting.

Annual Full Pay Range: $87,404 - $108,743 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $41.86 - $52.08
