Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/22/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Cath Lab /n/n Job Details: /n • Work with a varied work schedule in catheterization laboratory setting /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients /n• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs /n• Review patient history and physical with patient/family within appropriate timeframe /n• Monitor diagnostic and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians /n• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning /n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities /n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records /n• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel and students /n• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required /n• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area /n• Bachelor's degree preferred /n• Professional certification preferred /n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area /n• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics /n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory providing comprehensive cardiovascular services.
