A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: /n RN - ER /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Every other holiday requirement /n• Patient ratio of 1:4 /n• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day /n• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases /n• Work with 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric team /n• 5+ years of nursing experience required with at least 1 travel assignment /n• Must have Meditech experience - required /n• 75-mile radius rule applies /n• Driver's license address must be provided in submission /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI /n• Caribbean blue scrubs required /n• Nurses perform own lab draws and IV starts /n• Charge nurse responsibilities included /n• 2-shift floor-specific orientation required /n• Must complete ORT during first week /n• Work with 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift /n• 24/7 respiratory therapist and pharmacy support available /n• Central monitoring tech and security/patient sitters available /n• Auto lunch deductions apply /n• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks /n/n Facility: /n This acute care facility features a comprehensive emergency department that serves as a regional trauma and stroke center.
