Clinical Pharmacist I

As a Clinical Pharmacist I at MedStar Health, you will provide patient-centered clinical pharmacy services within a leading not-for-profit health system serving the Maryland–Washington, D.C. region. In this on-site role, you’ll review and verify medication orders, prepare and dispense medications, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize safe, evidence-based drug therapy. You’ll perform medication reconciliation, monitor for drug interactions and adverse events, and adjust therapy based on labs and clinical status. You will participate in clinical rounds, document interventions in the EHR, and provide patient and staff education. Working within MedStar’s patient-first, mission-driven culture, you’ll support quality improvement initiatives, formulary stewardship, and regulatory compliance while gaining exposure to advanced clinical practices, interprofessional teamwork, and robust professional development opportunities across a large regional health system.
