Grant Manager

We are looking for a talented Grant Manager to lead all grant-related activities across all JAFCO programs. This is not a back-office role. As JAFCO's Grant Manager, you'll be a strategic partner at the heart of our development operation, owning the full grant lifecycle from opportunity identification through funder stewardship. You'll craft narratives that turn program outcomes into funding, build relationships, and help shape the organization's long-term funding strategy alongside senior leadership. About JAFCO JAFCO serves South Florida and Philadelphia's most vulnerable children and families through four transformative programs: Children's Village, Children's Ability Center, Eagles' Haven, and Family Matters. Responsibilities Grant Strategy Build and manage a robust pipeline across foundation, corporate, and government sources. Write high-quality LOIs, applications and narratives that translate impact into funding. Develop and Maintain Funder Relationships Serve as the primary contact for institutional funders and develop long-term stewardship strategies. Reporting and Compliance Prepare timely reports, track outcomes, and ensure alignment across programs and finance. Qualifications A skilled storyteller who can translate complex program work into persuasive, data-driven narratives. 3-5+ years of experience in grant management, ideally in human services or a related mission-driven field. Proven track record of securing institutional funding from foundations, corporations, or government sources. Organized, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. Experience with CRM systems (i.e. DonorPerfect) is a plus. Why JAFCO Your work here will directly fund care for children and families who need it most.
