Hedge Fund Operations Manager job at Tandym Group. North Miami Beach, FL. A Hedge Fund in Florida is seeking an accomplished Hedge Fund Operations Manager to work full time in the Sunny Isles office. This is a critical role that interacts directly with traders, prime brokers, trading counterparties, accountants, and auditors. Responsibilities Daily trade life cycle Trade processing, settlement coordination, and trade break reconciliation Reconcile cash, positions, profit and loss, accruals, receivables/payables Research, communicate, and solve trade breaks with prime brokerage teams and counterparties Affirm trade settlements for bilateral derivative transactions, including financing schedules Track all trade confirms and follow up with appropriate parties to resolve discrepancies Reconcile derivative margin calls and respond to counterparties Compile and compare interest rates, debit balances, and free cash to determine how to strategically move funds Summarize and review cash balances, margin excess, and short market value across several prime brokers and counterparties Track short rebates and work with trader to monitor changes Reconcile previous day profit and loss report to accounting system, and clarify any changes Retrieve month end statements, book interest and rebates in accounting system, and finalize cash and position reconciliations Perform other duties as needed Qualifications 3-7 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Mathematics, and/or a similar field Investment industry knowledge and experience Hedge fund experience (fund accountant/operations) Tandym Group #J-18808-Ljbffr Downtown Boulder Partnership
