How You'll Make an Impact in This Role

• Perform active physiological monitoring of vital signs (heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations).
• Routinely perform and result intra-procedure patient testing and hemodynamic calculations, including oxygen saturation, cardiac output, and shunting.
• Anticipate and interpret procedural changes, such as those indicating necessary catheter position adjustments.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of varied procedures and the associated equipment and supplies used for performance.
• Maintain strict asepsis, ensuring proper handling and preparation of materials.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
