Role Overview

The Desktop Support Analyst is a hands-on technology champion who helps keep corporate teams connected, productive, and confident in their tools. This role blends technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and customer service to resolve Tier 2 incidents and work orders across Windows and Mac environments. The Analyst partners with end users to diagnose issues, deliver secure solutions, and create a seamless technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate on a cross-functional team providing support to Windows and Mac equipment.
• Support the on-site user experience by welcoming walk-up users, creating support tickets, and providing prompt hands-on assistance.
• Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other telecommunications equipment.
• Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file servers, email servers, and application servers.
• Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences, and back-out instructions.
• This position is primarily on-site and requires the ability to routinely lift 35 lbs. (16 kg) and walk between multiple floors up to 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related experience in technical support and customer service.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Solid knowledge of current Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, and associated hardware.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including user account support, license management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting standard Microsoft desktop applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with enterprise software, such as Anti-virus/malware clients and VPN.
• Experience with enterprise drive encryption technologies such as Bitlocker.
• Experience supporting tablet and mobile devices in an enterprise setting.
• Experience supporting Active Directory and SCCM.
• Hands-on experience with Jamf and Workspace ONE management portals for device management and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of the Okta Admin portal, including user lifecycle support, application access, and multi-factor authentication tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
