Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a calm environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this dynamic role, you will assist staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer-focused service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor screening processes while helping to support order, following post instructions, and escalating unusual situations when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
