Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a calm environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this dynamic role, you will assist staff, patients, and visitors while delivering customer-focused service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time: Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM; Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor screening processes while helping to support order, following post instructions, and escalating unusual situations when needed. Minimum Requirements: Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required. Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
