Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Overview Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant position located at Donald P. Ney Administration Building. Openings as of 6/2/2026; applications reviewed until a suitable candidate is found. This position is not remote. Responsibilities Primary purpose: Analyze, and develop reports regarding the speech disability condition; maintain appropriate records and files; evaluate effectiveness of the speech-language program; conduct necessary screenings; provide therapy to identified students as required; educate and consult with parents and teachers regarding speech disabilities in special education students. Qualifications Education/Certification Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology form accredited university or college Licensed to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the state of Texas Special Knowledge/Skills Ability to observe, record progress of students with speech impairments Strong problem-solving skills Strong consultation skills for conferencing with teacher, parents and others Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Experience Relevant experience in public schools, minimum of 2 years preferred Compensation & Schedule Works a 187 day calendar Starting Salary $66,000 Stipend: $1,000 Salary commensurate with experience *This position cannot be performed remotely #J-18808-Ljbffr
