Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. The position is located in Meyersdale, PA at an assisted living facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure as applicable for Pennsylvania and the assigned specialty, if required by state law.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• All candidates must complete clear background and screening requirements prior to start, including Pennsylvania-specific clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police (PATCH) clearance, and fingerprint-based checks as required by state agencies.
• Fingerprinting requirements: candidates must submit fingerprints before clearance. FBI fingerprinting must be current within two years or completed as instructed by the client.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in rural or critical access hospital environments preferred.
• Prior experience with outpatient, imaging, diagnostic, or specialty laboratory services preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:00 - 18:30.
• Shift name: Days.
• Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
