Delivery Specialist-1

Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $14.81 - $21.00 per hour (minimum wage or higher based on location). Additional compensation may include annual and quarterly performance premiums, schedule, facility, season or specific work premiums. Responsibilities Operate company delivery vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to professional customers. Use hand‑held fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security of keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices and collected money. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents or damage immediately to the store manager. Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicles at the end of each business day. Clock in/out in compliance with company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, stocking, merchandising, running errands, checking in stock orders and occasional cashier or merchandising support. Qualifications Legal, state‑required driver’s license and a clean 14/18‑point driving record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly and accurately. Adaptability to changing delivery situations. Familiarity with automotive parts is desired. Experience operating light store equipment.
