Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse

This is a 16-week contract position.

Shift: Nights - 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week are available, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Flexibility is required according to facility needs.

We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a dynamic environment. This unit specializes in treating patients with Osteomyelitis, chemotherapy-related issues, SBO, Sepsis, and TRAM surgery.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans.
Educate patients and families on treatment options and care practices.
Support patients during chemotherapy and other therapies.
Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute Med-Surg/Tele and oncology.
2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Active New York RN license.
AHA BLS certification.
Preferred: Chemotherapy certification.
