District Administrator Muncie Sanitary District | Muncie, Indiana Starting Salary Range: Up to $130,000 Application Deadline: August 13, 2026 About The Position The Muncie Sanitary District is seeking an experienced and collaborative District Administrator to lead a well‑run, financially stable public utility serving the Muncie community. This executive role oversees day‑to‑day operations, staff leadership, budgeting, capital planning, and regulatory compliance for a multi‑department sanitary and wastewater organization with a AAA bond rating and an annual budget of approximately $39.5 million. The Administrator will partner closely with the Board of Sanitary Commissioners to guide major capital investments, succession planning, and long‑term strategic initiatives while serving as a visible and trusted representative of the District.
