User Experience Researcher

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking a UX Researcher to join its Innovation team. This individual will lead strategic research initiatives that help de‑risk executive decisions, uncover customer insights, and shape long‑term business strategy. Unlike traditional product or UX research roles, this position focuses on executive‑level initiatives by designing and executing end‑to‑end research programs and translating findings into actionable business recommendations. What the Right Candidate Will Enjoy Leading high‑impact research that influences strategic business decisions. Partnering with cross‑functional teams across Innovation, Business, UX, Marketing, IT, and Analytics. Working on a variety of research initiatives supporting executive priorities. Presenting insights and recommendations directly to business stakeholders. What Type of Experience the Right Candidate Has 8–10+ years of experience in UX Research, Customer Experience (CX), Market Research, Human‑Centered Design, or a related field. Experience leading end‑to‑end qualitative and quantitative research studies. Strong mixed‑methods research expertise and ability to determine the best methodology for each project. Proven experience synthesizing research findings into clear, strategic recommendations. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex findings to non‑technical audiences. Experience with research platforms such as UserTesting, Researcher in Copilot, Resonate, or similar tools. Financial services or other regulated industry experience is preferred. What the Responsibilities Are of the Right Candidate Lead end‑to‑end qualitative and quantitative research initiatives that inform strategic business decisions. Design research plans and execute interviews, usability studies, surveys, and other research activities. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify research opportunities and business needs. Analyze research findings and synthesize insights into executive‑ready recommendations. Present research outcomes in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner. Influence strategic initiatives through evidence‑based insights and customer research. Utilize appropriate research methodologies and tools to answer complex business questions.
