Retread Technician – Shop Equipment OperatorColony Tire Corporation located in Edenton, NC, is currently seeking a full-time Retread Technician – Shop Equipment Operator to join our team! Full benefit package offered including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) + company match, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), paid holidays, vacation time, company paid life insurance, and short-term disability.$2000 dollar sign on bonus! This will be paid out $200 per month from Month 3 to Month 12. Must work entire first year to receive full bonus and be within good standing of the company. Terms may applyAs a Retread Technician Shop Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in the process of retreading tires, ensuring quality control and efficient operation of shop equipment. This role will perform retreading functions for light, medium truck, and specialty tires as well as other duties as assigned by the manager. Your responsibilities will include operating specialized machinery, monitoring equipment performance, and assisting in the retreading process under the supervision of senior technicians. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
