Overview Landscape Architect – Charlotte, NC Location: United States, North Carolina, Charlotte Job ID: 15360 | Openings: 1 | Relocation Assistance: Yes | Service Line: IES Role: Landscape Architect in our Charlotte, NC office to work on a variety of projects for public and private clients. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, mixed-use, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities Prepare site construction documents for public and private projects, including parks and recreation, education, commercial/retail and single-family developments. Prepare development plans to support rezoning and/or special exception applications. Assist with conducting public meetings and workshops. Site/civil development including construction site plans, grading design, stormwater management systems design, landscaping, erosion and sediment control design, and construction details using Civil 3D. Familiarity with stormwater design is a plus but not required. May conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning. 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture. Registered Landscape Architect preferred but not required. Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, GIS/ArcView and PowerPoint. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview.
