Job Summary
We are seeking a Welding Inspector – Quality for a Miscellaneous Shop environment. This position is responsible for inspecting welds and ensuring all work meets quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous experience checking welds and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Identify weld defects and communicate findings to production teams
- Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Work closely with shop personnel to ensure consistent workmanship
- Assist with quality documentation and reporting as needed
- Previous experience checking and inspecting welds is required
- CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Must be able to train on 1st shift
- Training will take place on 1st shift
- Shift schedule to be discussed during the interview process
