Epson Clean Room Operator

Pay: $20.00 + 10% Shift Differential = $22.00 / hour

Swing Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM

Purpose:

Performs a variety of tasks including visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection of materials and product in the manufacturing process through final systems assembly, ensuring production lines are stocked with parts, and loading parts on to the production line.

Essential Functions:

• Performs visual inspections to identify cosmetic and functional defects
• Operates and monitors automated production equipment in accordance with game plan
• Monitors machine output to ensure production is within defined operation standards
• Performs general go/no go dimensional inspections utilizing inspection tools
• Identifies material defects and communicates the information to the appropriate individuals
• Enters inspection, quality, and parts delivery data into CALI and/or SAM
• Reads game plan and Kanban cards to determine what model is being run, what parts are needed for the production line, and what parts to load
• Identifies and understands all part functions
• Delivers parts and ink barrels from the mini warehouse to the production line, recycles materials from the production line, and applies glycerin application to defined parts
• Loads parts on to the line and feeder bowls
• Provides back-up support to other Operators
• Maintains clean work area and follows all safety procedures

Education, Training and Skills:

• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent education and experience
• General inspection/assembly/production experience preferred
• Ability to perform four-function math
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity
• Basic computer skills, including data entry
• Ability to understand and interpret work instructions and inspection documentation
• Ability to maintain high production volumes
• Ability to make basic quality judgments
• Good teamwork skills and attention to detail

Work Envir onment Requirements:

• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Use of materials listed in department's Safety Data Sheet Book
• Lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Use of specialized apparel, including garments designed for working in a cleanroom environment
