Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed
• Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings highly valued
• Comfort and skill working with AAC devices and limited-verbal or nonverbal students
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
• Positive, patient, and flexible approach with students and teams

Duties:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for elementary students with significant communication challenges
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans focused on functional and academic communication outcomes
• Integrate evidence-based practices and AAC strategies to support student success
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and outside professionals to ensure consistent and effective interventions
• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress tracking for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
