Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Associate for its Los Angeles, CA office. The role involves handling litigation management, legal research, and drafting for class action and single plaintiff cases, including issues like wage violations and wrongful termination. Duties Manage litigation and conduct legal research. Draft legal documents and agreements. Advise on employment-related matters. Negotiate employment and severance agreements. Provide counsel on employee policies and practices. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and employment law. Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Experience in defending class and collective actions. Trial experience preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law in California. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research and analytical skills. Attention to detail and good judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
