About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 to 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large urban hospital required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry - EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years - Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma facility within the last year Description: This position offers options for either 36 or 48 hours and a 13 or 26 week contract. Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments. RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet staffing needs. Assignments may depend on the traveler’s experience. Floating may include assignments to a sister campus. Work on various units may include stepdown critical care, telemetry, and observation. Weekend shifts will require 4 weekend days out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday work requirements include 2 out of 3 major holidays. 100% nicotine-free facility is mandatory. RTO restrictions allow up to two weeks, needs to be submitted with the application. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have specific prior experience. Candidates must have recent acute inpatient experience within the specified timeframe. Travelers will need to comply with state licensing requirements. Specific procedures and equipment management may be required. The unit may have interdisciplinary support from various services. The facility is committed to providing care for complex patient needs. All contracts will end on a Sunday, and the work week is from Monday to Sunday. All documentation must be submitted timely following acceptance of the position.
