Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to learn and perform multiple steps in a production process, including screen printing, packaging, machine operation, and product inspection. You will support the creation of quality products by operating equipment, handling materials, and verifying that finished items meet established standards before they move to packaging and shipping.
Responsibilities

• Learn and perform various stages of the production process, including screen printing, packaging, machine operation, and inspection.
• Operate screen printing equipment by adding and monitoring paint to ensure the machine runs effectively and produces consistent results.
• Prepare and package products, ensuring all packages are sealed tightly, correctly labeled, and ready for shipment.
• Run production machines to punch or cut parts to the appropriate size, following specifications and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine performance during operation, inspecting parts and equipment to verify that machines are functioning correctly.
• Inspect finished products to identify and remove any defects before items move to packaging or shipping.
• Use hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently to support general labor and assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in general labor, repetitive work, or a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with machine operation, including press machines, press brakes, or similar production equipment.
• Basic packaging experience, including sealing and labeling products.
• Ability to perform product inspection to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
• Comfort working in labor-intensive and repetitive roles while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively in a production setting.
• Capability to work in close proximity with a team in a busy production environment.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices in manufacturing or production settings.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Onalaska, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.95 - $17.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
