Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up equipment, and support the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow. This opportunity is located in Farmington, NM at a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS certification.
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience across a broad range of service areas preferred: Neuro (craniotomy and spinal fusions), Orthopedics (total joints), GYN (C-section and hysterectomy), Robotics, General Surgery (including vascular and trauma), and Urology. (Preferred)
• Experience working in a Level III trauma center or similar high-acuity hospital setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• CST credential preferred if not listed above.
• Experience with state-of-the-art operating suite workflow and sterile processing protocols.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1900.
