$24.00–$39.00/hr | Rotating shifts | 24/7 operation
Multiple openings in Crush/Convey, Mill, Hydromet, and Shared Services. Level (3 or 4) based on experience, screening, and assessment. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Level 4 — Processing Diagnostic Mechanic
Highly skilled mechanic. Diagnose, maintain, install, replace, and repair fixed plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, dust systems, pumps, dewatering, and hydraulics
- Preventative maintenance and lubrication
- Piping/pump work (valves, expansion joints, check valves)
- Work orders, inspections, mentoring, fill-in supervisor
- Advanced welding/fabrication ; forklifts, cranes, boom trucks
Reqs: 2 years mechanical/maintenance (welder, boilermaker, machinist, or industrial repair) or equivalent. Pass written assessment. Proficient basic welding. HS diploma/GED preferred.
Level 3 — Processing Repair Employee
Skilled mechanic working under supervision on the same equipment.
- Assist with removal, repair, and install of plant equipment
- Preventative maintenance and piping/pump work
- Work orders and inspections
- May weld and operate forklifts/cranes/boom trucks
Reqs: 1 year fixed-plant mechanical/maintenance or equivalent. Pass written assessment. HS diploma/GED preferred.
Conditions: English verbal/written. Mine/plant environment (heat, cold, chemicals, noise, confined space, elevated work). Lift up to 50 lbs. Full PPE required.
Site: Company town ~50 miles NE of Safford. Company housing or $750/mo housing allowance (if eligible), daycare, clinic, gym, and rec amenities.
