OB Hospitalist Opportunity

Work collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure every pregnant woman presenting to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician. Provide in-house expertise in managing obstetric emergencies to improve patient safety and satisfaction. Seeking OB/GYNs with: strong clinical and communication skills, passion for healthcare quality improvement, and desire to shape the future of the specialty. Full-time hospitalists typically work seven 24-hour shifts per month. No on-call duties and no office management responsibilities.

Hospital Information

Family Birth Center equipped with a 26-bed, Level III NICU offering advanced services for premature infants. Currently undergoing expansion with: a state-of-the-art patient tower, 28 private postpartum rooms, private NICU rooms, water birthing suite (rare in Los Angeles County), three dedicated surgery suites, a new pregnancy care center with private triage spaces. Facility averages: ~2,600 annual deliveries, ~5,000 triage visits per year.
