Job Title: Collector II

Job Location: Wayne, NJ, 07470

Duration: 6+ months (contract To Hire)

Mode: (5 days onsite)

Shift: 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM EST

Pay Rate: $24/Hr. On W2

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to secure payments on consumer loan accounts.
• Negotiate and establish payment arrangements/payment plans with customers.
• Handle approximately 60 customer accounts per day within a collections queue.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, payment commitments, and account updates.
• Review and understand credit reporting information related to delinquent accounts.
• Utilize collection systems and multiple computer applications to manage accounts effectively.
• Provide professional customer service while adhering to company collection policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• 2 or above years of Collections Specialist, Collections Representative, Account Receivable Collections, or Call Center experience.
• Experience handling high-volume inbound/outbound calls.
• Strong communication, negotiation, active listening, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple systems/screens while on calls.
• Experience with collections software is a plus.
• Knowledge of consumer loans, auto loans, personal loans, lines of credit, and credit reporting is preferred.
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, and results-driven.
