Job Description:


Position Overview

• We are seeking an Electronics Test Technician to support product validation and production readiness efforts. This role is responsible for testing electronic assemblies, setting up laboratory equipment, documenting test results, and maintaining test equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a solid understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing of electronic assemblies and accurately document results.

• Set up laboratory and test equipment according to engineering specifications and work instructions.

• Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment and products.

• Troubleshoot issues and support root cause analysis activities.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Maintain product records, test documentation, and quality-related reports.

• Work independently while adhering to established procedures and safety requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support product qualification and manufacturing readiness.

Required Qualifications


Education

• Associate degree in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military training/certification, or related experience.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of related technical experience required.

• 3+ years of related experience preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with personal computers and common business software, including spreadsheets and word processing applications.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis techniques.

• Ability to read and understand engineering documents, schematics, and diagrams.

• Experience maintaining accurate records and technical documentation.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components.

• Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic tools.

• Background in one or more of the following:

• Electronics

• Electrical work or electrical contracting

• Automotive repair (on-road or off-road equipment)

• Communications or networking hardware

• Robotics, automation, or mechatronics

• Agricultural equipment or farming operations
