Property AccountantThis is a hybrid role - 3 days remote and 2 days in the Malvern, PA office.CubeSmart is seeking a Property Accountant to join the Accounting and Finance team at its Malvern, PA headquarters. The Property Accountant will provide WOW! Customer service to both internal and external customers by performing day to day accounting work for assigned stores and districts. The CubeSmart team is made up of people who have a can-do attitude, are committed to their own success and the success of the company, and lead by example.If this sounds like a team and culture that matches your personal values and motivations, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, adjust and record all income collected on a daily basis from reports produced at the property levelConfirms that properties make deposits daily and monitors receipt activity to detect theft and/or fraudResponsible for answering facilities and main office accounting inquiresResponsible for reconciliation of property level bank accountsCode all accounts payable for assigned propertiesReview expenses at month end to ensure accurate coding and report on budget vs. actual performanceAssist with special projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree with 0-2 year's professional experience in the accounting fieldDeveloped knowledge and understanding of accounting function within a real estate development/retail company.Strong analytical and problem solving abilitiesAbility to communicate with all levels including co-workers, field staff, and management.
