PRINCIPAL SAFETY ENGINEER

Wilder Wealthy & Wise

Manage complex rail system safety projects, including project development, budgeting, staff supervision, scheduling, status reporting, documentation production, & client interface. Consult on rail systems safety programs, railroad operating practices, application of regulations & industry standards, risk assessment, & hazard prevention/mitigation. Perform safety, reliability, & quality audits of transportation systems, railway operations, & train control system application & practices. Assure that safety designs demonstrate rigorous safety concepts & design principles. Evaluate designs for compliance with customer requirements & regulatory requirements. Quality products & systems to domestic & international standards. Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Rail Engineering or Environmental Policy & 5 years of related experience in rail safety required, including safety assessments of railway systems, risk management, hazard identification.
