As a vital member of the special education team in a high school district, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow educators, administrators, and families, using your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders. Your proficiency with SIRAS, the IEP system, will be especially valued as you help ensure students have comprehensive, tailored support plans to guide their progress.

Qualifications:

• Active SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• California CTC credential required
• Experience with high school-aged students strongly preferred
• Familiarity with SIRAS IEP system
• Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a contract, full-time school-based position

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for high school students
• Develop and implement IEPs using SIRAS, coordinating with families and school staff
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions targeting students’ unique needs
• Document progress and maintain accurate records per district standards
• Provide guidance and training to teachers, families, and staff regarding student needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
