PASTRY CHEF
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the daily operation, production, quality, and presentation of all pastry and dessert items for à la carte dining, banquets, special events, member functions, buffets, and other Club activities. This position will work closely with the Executive Chef and Culinary Leadership Team to develop innovative desserts and pastry offerings that reflect the high standards and evolving vision of Bear Lakes Country Club.
MENU DEVELOPMENT & CREATIVITY
The Pastry Chef is expected to actively contribute to the continued development of the Bear Lakes culinary program.
BANQUET & SPECIAL EVENT RESPONSIBILITES
The Pastry Chef will play a key role in the successful execution of Bear Lakes' banquet and special-event program.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Culinary Arts degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited culinary or pastry program preferred.
- Minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in a private club, luxury hotel, resort, fine-dining restaurant, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience may be considered.
- Experience with high-volume banquet and special-event production preferred.
- Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred or required within the applicable timeframe.
