Global Mobility Program Manager - Algorithmic Trading Firm

Compensation: $150,000 - 190,000 + bonus Contract: FTE Working style: 3-4 days a week onsite in NYC About the job Hawkwood is partnering with an innovative quantitative trading firm to hire a Global Mobility Program Manager into their New York office. Our client partners sophisticated data with powerful technology to solve complex problems in global financial markets, while also committing significant resources to tackling some of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges. Over the past few years, the business has expanded internationally, establishing core hubs across the globe. The New York office is still early in its journey, but scaling rapidly and attracting talent from leading hedge funds and world-class technology companies. This role will sit at the heart of that growth. You will support global movement across New York, Singapore and the UK, with US immigration being the most important area of complexity (visa renewals, RFEs, green card processes, internal transfers and new hire moves). It is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 5+ years of global mobility experience who wants to step into a role with meaningful ownership now, and the ability to grow into broader strategic responsibility over time. What you’ll be doing Managing day-to-day global mobility operations across the US, UK and Singapore Coordinating US immigration processes through external counsel and vendors Supporting visa renewals, RFEs, green card starts, internal transfers and new hire moves Partner closely with key stakeholders across the business, People teams and external providers Coordinating relocations and mobility support across offices Managing relationships with core vendors across immigration, relocation, tax and mobility Spotting potential tax, compliance or mobility risks and making sure the right questions are asked early Helping create a thoughtful, well-managed experience for employees moving across borders Building the operational foundations for a global mobility program that can scale What we’re looking for Five plus years of experience in global mobility In‑house experience is essential Strong grounding in US immigration Experience coordinating mobility, relocation or immigration processes through external vendors Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Enough cross‑border tax awareness to identify risks and be able to ask the right questions A proactive, organised and hands‑on approach Someone collaborative, detail‑aware and comfortable working in a growing environment This role would suit someone currently operating as a strong Global Mobility Specialist or Mobility Program Manager who is ready for more ownership, closer stakeholder partnership, and the opportunity to help build a scalable global mobility function.
