Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical practitioners, and nursing staff to ensure all-encompassing, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy modalities to encourage continuous improvement at home
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans accordingly to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications for professional growth

Licenses

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
