Job title: Tax Specialist Location: 100% Remote Salary: $90,000-$120,000 Benefits: Competitive Compensation, 401k Company match, fully remote, Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Tax Specialist): * 100% remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S. * Join a growing boutique CPA firm specializing exclusively in aviation tax. * Opportunity to become an expert in a unique and highly specialized area of tax. * Work closely with clients and partners in a collaborative, quality-focused environment - not a high-volume tax practice. * True 40-hour work week Key Responsibilities (Tax Specialist): * Prepare annual tax analyses, including aircraft-related income tax and fringe benefit calculations. * Handle multi-state sales tax filings, property tax compliance, and Federal Excise Tax reporting. * Analyze flight activity, passenger data, and aircraft usage for tax purposes. * Research federal and state tax regulations, prepare technical tax memorandums, and recommend tax strategies. Preferred Qualifications (Tax Specialist): * Bachelor's degree in Accounting. * Active CPA license required. * 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
