Setnix, a Setna iO company, is an FAA- EASA- and UKCAA- certified repair station delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions for the aviation and aerospace industry. Based in Tempe, Arizona, Setnix specializes in APU and main engine teardown, inspection, testing, repair, overhaul, and certification of high demand rotables and aircraft components.

The Impact You’ll Make

The Facility Manager plays an important role in keeping Setnix’s facility safe, functional, and well maintained. This is a hands-on position responsible for addressing day-to-day facility needs, maintaining the building and surrounding property, and ensuring issues are handled efficiently. The Facility Manager will work independently while coordinating with leadership, employees, vendors, and contractors as needed.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day condition and upkeep of the facility and surrounding property.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance, repair, and safety concerns.
• Address minor plumbing issues, including leaks, fixtures, drains, fittings, and threaded plumbing connections.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and coordinate professional service when needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor irrigation issues as well as minor electrical repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Communicate major repair needs, safety concerns, or facility issues to leadership.
• Follow company safety procedures and facility requirements.
• Assist with additional facility projects and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facility management, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and irrigation systems, with experience performing general maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize when repairs require a licensed or specialized professional.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, and perform repetitive movements associated with facility maintenance.
• Ability to safely use tools and equipment required to perform general maintenance duties.
• Ability to perform work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
