Digital Marketing Manager

We are hiring a Digital Marketing Manager for a higher education organization to build awareness of its programs, products, and services and connect prospective students with opportunities that help them achieve their goals.

The Digital Marketing Manager is an innovative, performance-driven professional responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive digital marketing strategies, beginning with a strong website presence. This role will lead SEO initiatives to improve search engine rankings across the organization's brands, oversee agency partners managing Google Ads campaigns, and develop and execute paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate will ensure all digital marketing efforts work in synergy to drive website traffic, generate high-intent inquiries, strengthen brand awareness, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using data and analytics to continuously optimize performance and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy and Execution:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to guide content creation and identify SEO opportunities
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve organic search rankings.
- Implement technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices, including site speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and structured data markup.
- Perform backlink analysis and outreach to build high-quality inbound links and improve domain authority.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and search engine rankings, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
- Creates new website sections and pages as needed.
- Google Ads Management (in partnership with paid search agency):
- Develop, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, Pmax etc.
- Develops and deploys paid YouTube campaigns
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to inform ad targeting and bidding strategies.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing SEO and paid digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Ads (5+ years) , Meta Ads (5+ years), Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Certification in Google Ads and/or Google Analytics


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in for-profit higher education marketing (agency side or institution side)
- Experience with LinkedIn and YouTube campaigns appreciated
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile performance reports, interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience supporting C-level executives or working with a board
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Background in contract or legal document management
- Experience coordinating large-scale events or offsites
- Strong ability to organize and present data clearly
- High-level travel coordination experience
