This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home or any conducive environment. Our digital workspace supports your professional development and allows for flexible scheduling, with a workweek typically running Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, different treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Stay informed on contemporary research and developments in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential treatment documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Valor Therapy Center, you will primarily work with individuals dealing with a variety of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The clientele is diverse and may include survivors of trauma, domestic abuse victims, individuals experiencing homelessness, and refugees. You will provide culturally competent care, understanding each client's unique backgrounds and experiences.
