Position Overview

The Supply & Facility Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping our healthcare facilities fully stocked, safe, and operational. You will oversee inventory management, coordinate supply distribution across clinical and administrative units, and collaborate with vendor and facility teams to support high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management & Ordering:

  • Monitor stock levels daily for clinical floors, patient rooms, labs, and supply closets.

  • Place accurate reorders using the inventory management system (e.g., Helios) and anticipate potential shortages.

  • Track backordered or fast-moving items, suggest alternative products when needed, and coordinate overstock returns.

  • Partner with administrative and clinical leadership to optimize par levels and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Supply Distribution & Logistics:

  • Promptly deliver and stock supplies, linens, procedure carts, and required FDA-approved items to designated areas.

  • Rotate inventory during restocking to maintain safety and compliance standards.

  • Safely enter patient rooms to replenish supplies while providing courteous, professional service.

• Facility Operations & Coordination:

  • Partner with Plant Operations, Facilities Management, Environmental Services, and Safety teams to ensure all facility areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.

  • Serve as a liaison for external vendors and internal departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor s Degree is a plus).

• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare, logistics, or inventory setting is preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using digital inventory systems.

• Work Environment: Ability to work in varied conditions, including potential exposure to cold environments (e.g., Food and Nutrition storage).
