About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Accounting Officer to spearhead the growth and development of its accounting and financial reporting function. This executive will be a pivotal member of the finance leadership team, working in close collaboration with the CFO and other executives to ensure the organization's financial operations align with its expansion and strategic goals. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading all accounting, financial reporting, and controllership activities, as well as overseeing technical accounting, policies, and GAAP compliance. A key aspect of the role is to drive internal controls, process improvements, and scalability initiatives, and to support the company in M&A activities and complex business transactions. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company should hold a CPA and have a minimum of 15 years' progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably with a background in public accounting. The role requires a candidate with a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, and a proven track record in building scalable accounting infrastructure. Experience in high-growth, multi-location, or consumer-facing businesses is essential, as is the ability to lead a large team and partner with executive leadership.
