Sourcing Manager

Work Flexibility Hybrid (work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility) Overview As Sourcing Manager, Strategic Sourcing, you will drive innovation, efficiency, and value across our global supply base. This high‑impact position provides direct visibility to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a defined supplier portfolio, ensuring excellence in service, quality, and cost. Own a portfolio of sustaining products while managing the transition of new products from development into production for seamless supplier integration. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key categories (metals, plastics, electronics) aligned with category goals and global objectives. Set strategic direction for key supplier partnerships and act as escalation point for supplier issues, including quality concerns, dispute resolution, and commercial implications. Drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities to meet short‑term and long‑term business needs. Lead global sourcing projects and strategic initiatives beyond sourcing, including program management efforts. Own supplier strategy for sustaining products and lead transition and sourcing ownership of new products as they move into full‑scale production. Communicate confidently with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and supplier organizations. Required Qualifications 8+ years in supply management focused on strategic sourcing and supplier development. Bachelor’s degree. Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best prices and terms on products, materials, and services. Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or medical device or highly regulated industry. Annual travel: 20% Salary range: $102,600 – $171,000 USD. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AS400 or ERP systems. Proficiency in Power BI or similar applications.
