Project Executive – Affordable Housing Ground-Up Construction (NYC) My client, a leading developer and GC, is seeking a Project Executive to lead large-scale affordable housing ground-up developments across New York City. Lead multiple ground-up affordable housing projects from preconstruction through closeout Provide executive oversight of project operations, budgets, schedules, and risk management Manage and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams across multiple developments Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor negotiations, and contract administration Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with NYC DOB regulations, affordable housing requirements, and agency standards Drive project scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance initiatives Maintain strong relationships with developers, ownership groups, city agencies, consultants, and stakeholders Coordinate closely with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution Qualifications: 10–15+ years of construction management experience within NYC construction Proven track record delivering ground-up affordable housing, multifamily, or mixed-use residential projects Strong understanding of NYC DOB processes, permitting, and regulatory compliance Knowledge of affordable housing programs, public agency coordination, and union construction preferred Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience overseeing multiple project teams Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills Experience with construction management software and modern project delivery technology Competitive base salary and bonus Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Long-term career stability with a strong project pipeline Leadership development and advancement opportunities within a nationally recognised organisation #J-18808-Ljbffr Quest Personnel
