Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 2 years in an Emergency Room setting License: - Required state license Certifications: - NIH - BLS - ACLS - PALS - TNCC - NIHSS Must-Have: - Travel experience preferred, but not necessary - No trauma level one experience required Description: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Required certifications include NIH, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. A compact state license or a state-specific license is required. No trauma level one experience is necessary for applicants. Travel experience is preferred, though it is not mandatory. Requests for time off longer than one week will not be approved unless there are special circumstances. Local applicants residing within 100 miles will not be accepted for this position. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Weekend shifts will be scheduled, averaging 4-5 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. All mandatory compliance requirements must be met before onboarding. Candidates will be required to demonstrate competency in specific emergency procedures. Please be aware that rehire eligibility will be verified. Submission should include information about any previous employment with this facility. Licensure history will be checked, and submissions with licensing hits will be rejected. Modules are considered billable hours and will be conducted during orientation and annually. It is essential to meet all specified requirements to ensure a successful application process.
