Manufacturing Associate (Biotech) - Day Shift

A Top-Tier Global BioPharma Company is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in Novato, CA for a day-shift role (Thursday-Saturday with alternating Wednesdays, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM). In this position, you will execute core biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations and support the production of vital therapies.

• Shift: Thursday through Saturday with alternating Wednesday 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

responsibilities:

• Execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations, including cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, centrifugation, and bulk drug formulation.
• Utilize automated production systems such as LIMS, MES, and PI to monitor and record process data.
• Follow and review operational procedures (SOPs), providing feedback to incorporate best practices and new technologies.
• Support cGMP compliance by identifying process deviations, initiating CAPAs, and assisting with quality system requirements.
• Maintain cleanroom equipment, perform physical material connections, and handle routine manual operations in a regulated environment.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or engineering; OR an Associate's degree/Biotech certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing or regulated industry experience.
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical process theory and equipment operation.

Preferred:

• Direct experience with bioprocess automation systems (MES, LIMS, TrackWise).
• Experience writing or revising technical process documentation.
• Strong commitment to cGMP compliance and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work the assigned day-shift schedule (6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Thursday-Saturday with alternating Wednesdays) and lift up to 25 lbs.
