The position will work closely with accounting leadership and offers opportunities for professional development and advancement into additional responsibilities over time.About the OpportunityJoin a stable and steadily growing financial services organizationWork closely with experienced accounting and finance leadershipHands-on role with exposure to accounting, financial reporting, banking, and cash managementOpportunity to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the organizationCollaborative, professional, and team-oriented work environmentAccounting Analyst ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoices, payments, client billing, and depositsMonitor daily bank activity, process cash transfers and deposits, and support banking and treasury activitiesPrepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with financial statement preparationAssist with journal entries, general ledger activity, variance analysis, and month-end closePrepare and maintain financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow informationSupport 1099 preparation, payroll-related payments, expense reimbursements, and other accounting activitiesBuild and maintain Excel templates, formulas, and PivotTables to improve accounting processes and reportingIdentify opportunities to streamline recurring processes and leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiencyAssist with special accounting and operational projects as neededQualifications of the Accounting Analyst RolePrevious bookkeeping or accounting experience requiredExperience with QuickBooks Online or a similar general ledger systemStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and creating templatesStrong attention to detail and accuracy with reconciliations and financial reportingAbility to manage multiple daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlinesStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle confidential financial information with discretionProfessional written and verbal communication skillsInterest in process improvement, automation, and using technology to increase efficiencyFinancial services, professional services, or family office experience is a plusWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants more than a transactional role.
